In trying to appease his advertisers, Limbaugh issued a statement to explain the attack on Georgetown Law student Sandra Fluke, after spending 3 days bashing her on air to millions of his listeners. Make no mistake, he is only doing this because of the fact that six of his advertisers pulled their ads after extreme pressure from liberal activists like myself.

“For over 20 years, I have illustrated the absurd with absurdity, three hours a day, five days a week. In this instance, I chose the wrong words in my analogy of the situation. I did not mean a personal attack on Ms. Fluke,”…This was the opening of his statement, which contradicts everything he said on the air. On Wednesday he called her a “slut” who “wants to be paid to have sex” ; on Thursday, he said she was “having so much sex, it’s amazing she still can walk” ; and on Friday he said Ms. Fluke testified before the Senate that she was “having sex so frequently that she can’t afford all the birth-control pills that she needs.” Maybe it’s me, but that sounds awfully personal. He went on to say “What happened to personal responsibility and accountability?” Is he serious? This is the same guy that got busted at Palm Beach International airport with a bottle of someone else’s prescription Viagra.

I can hear my brother Andrew Brewer now saying “Another small-dick white-boy saying do as I say, not as I do”. The ONLY way we are going to get rid of hate-mongering bullies like Limbaugh is to hit them where it hurts most, their wallets. Lets keep up the pressure, sign this petition to tell his advertisers to “Stop supporting Rush Limbaugh’s attacks on women.” Now I am all in favor of the Freedom of Speech in America (no matter how vile and disgusting it is), but I am also a consumer and I will not give my money to anyone who enables these hateful and sexist thugs. It is also within my First Amendment rights to speak out against these cretins.
