Today is October 1st and that means it is the official start of Breast Cancer Awareness month. Now as many of you know, I am a breast man and have been since I was a baby. I have been supporting breast cancer causes for many years but this year it has become more personal than ever. I found out over the summer that two long-time friends have been diagnosed with breast cancer and it has really touched me deeply. I have been dealing with my own health issues but nothing as scary as cancer. So for both of my friends Donna & Lisa, I am jumping into this fight and pledge to do all I can to spread awareness and push all of my friends to get checked.
With that in mind I have created a fundraising page with the National Breast Cancer Foundation and am asking everyone I know to donate at least $1 dollar. The money raised from this page will go towards finding a cure and also to provide mammograms for those who can’t afford them.
This blog is dedicated to all those who have lost the fight and all of those who won’t quit the fight. Please join us, join “The Ronnagade Breast Brigade” and be a BFF (Breast Friend Forever)
Peace, Love & Justice For All.
