Today’s “Daily Socialist Propaganda” comes on the 24th Anniversary of the Exxon Valdez running aground in Alaska and spilling over 11 million gallons into Prince William Sound. My title says “Happy Anniversary” because the oil subsidies that are given out are cause for celebration if you are an executive at an oil company.
Unfortunately I have not heard a peep about this largest oil spill in history until the BP mess. In fact the talk on the Sunday morning shows I’ve been watching had the panels praising the members of the Senate for talking about the Keystone pipeline during their all-night budget session. That makes me nervous, I’m afraid they are going to falsely hype Keystone as THE silver bullet to eliminate unemployment (which it won’t). Congress has already proven that lobbyists make them bend to their will so what chance does the planet have against them?

Why are you so against oil and so pro solar? You seem to discount the cancer causing agents that are part of solar panels. In history cars and trucks have cleaned up their emmisions on an average of 85% or more. We have large deisel trucks that emmit nothing bu air and water due to technological advances, and they strive to get better each and every day. You harp and Harp on Global warming which scientist have proven has been pretty well ended for 16 years now. The earth has been shifting on it’s axis for millions of years which causes extreme weather, not this farce called Global warming. Now you want to rag on the Keystone Pipeline, which will in fact help with unemployment. Here’s a clue Ronn. They are going to process that oil either down here or up there whether or not the pipeline goes through. What’s so wrong with people having jobs? Hell we develope natural gas which burns cleaner than anything else and you pitch a bitch about fracking which has developed quite well and they learn more about it each and everyday. They have learned not to Frack near earthquake faults because of the problems it causes, they have developed secure ways to encase the wells so they don’t pollute and still you freak out. So you are against oil, yet oil is in almost everything we have now days, you are against natural gas because you are looking way back to when it was first started and not taking into account a thing that they learn about it and they develop it more each and every day. Yet you are all for Solar and wind power, which has cancer causing ingredients in the panels and in the turbines. So what do you really want? Lets just go all solar and wind and kill everyone with cancer after the panels and turbines have surved their purpose? I guess you are most likely against Nuclear energy too, because I am sure there are shortcomings you can find to that too.Maybe you are just totally happy with Obama giving away 90billion dollars to his buddy supporters who claim they have solar companies, but just go bankrupt? Christ, the EPA is even trying to ban wood burning stoves, claiming they pollute too much, yet science has proven that burning a log in a fireplace produces the same amount of CO2 as that same tree rotting on a forest floor. So should we ban trees from growing too because they are eventually going to pollute? There is a difference between being concerned and being a fanatic. Technology advances every day to make our sources better yet it seems you are totally against it.
