This dose of “Daily Socialist Propaganda” goes out to all of the people who say I never go after President Obama. It seems that for all intents and purposes the man I voted for President in the past two elections is nothing more than a moderate Republican. That actually speaks volumes about our two party system of false democracy.
Last week while everyone was watching the Marriage Equality debate in the Supreme Court the American people were outflanked yet again by Congress and Monsanto’s Lobbyist in Chief, President Barrack Obama. In what seemed like a harmless spending bill, the Consolidated and Further Continuing Appropriations Act 2013, there was a nasty little provision on page 78 which many are calling the “Monsanto Protection Act” that was signed into law by the President after passing the House and Senate. This provision protects GMO and biotech companies like Monsanto from judicial oversight. Check out 5 Terrifying Things about the provision here. The thing that bothers me most about this is that with this provision Monsanto can get away with poisoning people without having to worry about being sued for any wrongdoing.
President Obama signed this bill even though protesters had sent in petitions with over 250,000 signatures and rallied in front of the White House. It appalls me that he picked Monsanto’s former VP and lobbyist Michael Taylor to head the FDA. To all of the critics who called him a “Socialist”, this is just further proof that he is nothing more than a corporate shill and you should be embracing him. So 3 months into his second term, I am officially done with Obama and most of the Democratic party as they are all lying greedy bastards that don’t give a damn about the people they are supposed to represent.
Actually What has been my gripe all along and still is, is your slandering of Republicans while you continue to vote for Obama and Biden. Obama is a plant to take down the US from within and now you associate him with the Republican party which is further slander. He is far worse than anyone on the republican side of the ticket. Now you want to claim the Ryan budget favors only the rich and want to throw your support for the Congressional Progressive Caucus? Their plan is to further weaken the military and Raise taxes on the rich not taking into account that first weakening our military, will leave us as sitting ducks to the terrorists who are waiting patiently for us to let down our gaurd so they can strike again. Obama is supporting them you fool. Read their budget….”Reduce Fleet size” and “reduce troop size” Why not do away with all military and take everyones guns away too if that is what you want? Second What good is raising taxes on the rich going to do, when they still have the same loopholes to avoid those taxes to begin with? The rich people of the country already pay the majority of the taxes to the government already but because they have been successful you feel they should pay even more? Have you ever tried to get a job from a poor person? They don’t have any to offer. What actually needs to be done is remove the loopholes and lower tax rates across the board evenly. We already have the highest corporate tax rate in the free world, which is why no one wants to do business in the US. Raise those tax rates and watch the economy tumble even further than it has. They need to like I have said on numerous occasions take all three budgets, lock all those bastards in a room and make them pour over those budgets TOGETHER taking good points from each and forming them into a budget that will actually work for our country and the citizens, not just for the politicians. Leave the Military the hell alone, there will come a day that we do in fact need them to be there. I am not saying to constantly raise the spending on military spending but reducing it in the way progressives, propose will leave us as sitting ducks for anyone who wants to come take over. The progressive budget is nothing short of pure insanity, and would get zero votes from anyone with half a brain.
For someone who claims not to be Republican you sure do run to defend them every chance you get, I take full responsibility for voting for Obama twice, but it was clearly me voting for the lesser of two evils. You say that I’m a fool for supporting the progressive budget but you continue to support a budget that was rejected by the American people by a huge margin last November. You talk about military spending like we have the military of Granada when in fact we our military budget is bigger than the next 14 largest countries military combined. The problem that our economy faces right now is a lack of jobs and the CPC budget was the only budget proposal out there that addressed jobs. The Ryan budget that you are so fond of actually puts hundreds of thousands of people out of work immediately and puts millions more out of work in the longer term while giving huge tax breaks to billionaires who don’t need them. The CPC budget puts 7 million people to wok right away to repair and modernize our infrastructure which Republicans complain about as just more government spending while they are in DC and when they are in their districts they say that infrastructure is desperately needed.
So yes I will take responsibility for electing Obama, but the real problem we have is that corporations and lobbyists are running our country and the rich keep getting richer and the poor keep getting poorer. I hope that one day I will understand why people like you continue to vote against your own self interests…maybe you see it as that being the lesser of two evils.
